Art Bazaar 2010 – Applications Extended

Even though we have received a huge response to our call for applications to Art Bazaar 2010, we are extending the close date for applications until Monday October 25th.

We have had a large number of applications from women’s fashion and design already, however we need more applications from individual artists and galleries.

If you are an artist producing work which is NOT women’s fashion or design oriented, and would like to be involved in Art Bazaar 2010, please send in your application. Read the guidelines carefully and make sure you send your photographs!!


The 2010 Art Bazaar will be held
on Saturday 4th December 2010

In 2010 the ART BAZAAR Arts & Crafts Street Market celebrates its eighth year of operation. It is the premier opportunity for Hunter arts, craft and design practitioners and arts-related organisations to showcase their work.

Hunter Arts Network strives to promote professionalism and maintain the high standard of art works on offer at Art Bazaar, and encourage emerging Artists to take the opportunity to present their talent.

Over the last 7 years ART BAZAAR has become a highly anticipated event for both the public and the participating stallholders. It has stimulated the arts community and increased public awareness of the Hunter’s diverse artistic culture, successfully displaying the many individuals, groups, organisations and businesses.

The Market also represents an excellent opportunity for practitioners and organisations to develop professional networks which support the development of new work, broader audiences and marketing opportunities – all of which align directly with the objectives of HAN.

This is a tremendous opportunity for participants to market their work to a large audience at a time of year when this audience is really “in the mood” to buy!

All Stall-holders must be members of Hunter Arts Network ($50 individuals and $80 organisations). Applications will not be accepted from non-financial members. For information about joining the Hunter Arts Network and our membership form, visit our membership page.

Goods sold at ART BAZAAR are to be the original work of the Stall-holders and of a high standard. The primary focus of the Market is on Arts, Craft and Design work – not imported/re-sale goods – and we look for originality and innovation.

  2. Hi. I want to apply for a space at the art bazaar but have just realised today is the cut off point. Will it matter if I haven’t done it before Wednesday this week? It’s for myself and a couple of young artists,original artworks. I can submit pics but can only express post them tomorrow, or I can hand deliver if you let me know an address?
