Anna is initially from Tasmania & has been living in Newcastle for the last 10 years. Anna’s interest in visual arts started at the ripe old age of 5 years. As soon as she was able to hold a pencil in her hand, she started drawing. Being of Polish background, she has also had a strong interest in Polish folkloric culture and as a result has recently diverted her artistic energies into the art of paper-cutting. Her designs are based on traditional forms, but has also incorporated other exotic themes. Her cut-outs come in the form of pictures as well as greeting cards. She still continue to pursue her love of painting, and her works feature mainly fauna and landscapes.
Anna currently coordinates the Rotary Community Markets at New Lambton South Public School, on behalf of the Rotary Club of Adamstown-New Lambton, and has a stall there with an array of her artworks.
