Barbara is an environmentalist, with a love for animals and plants of the world and her current collection for sale in the gallery reflects this.
There is also a hint of wicker, Indian and Middle Eastern influence in Barbara’s style and designs. “Earth is an incredible source of life, creation and inspiration! Animals, stones, seeds and plants all rely on earth for their existence. I rely on it for inspiration and connectedness”. says Barbara Barbara enjoys carving designs in wax to reproduce them as jewellery in silver or recycled Gold. Her fabricated designs rely on sourcing 100% recycled sterling silver and she will often include stones she has cut herself.

Much of the rough material has been found in Barbara’s travels around Australia or else where in the world. Barbara’s jewellery is not mass produced, after creating the master, limited editions will follow but each will have a different point of
interest.
Drawing and painting, collage and assemblage are also a large part of Barbara’s portfolio. She produces cards from her original drawings and reproduced images.
