Elizabeth Rodger

Elizabeth combines a diverse work history with a visual arts background to create a range of practical bags, soft furnishings and accessories out of re-purposed leathers and upholstery fabrics, embracing a strong love for nature and sustainability.

Satchel with Cane Toad Leather Feature

Her recent work uses diverse materials such as cane toad skins (more beautiful than you would think!) wood and coconut shell. Her workshop mantra is -minimum waste, maximum care- and her work focuses on creating long lasting, repairable products made with locally sourced materials where possible.

Nappy Bag

She also re-creates favourite handbags for clients. Her range of bags includes a utility satchel, nappy and overnight bags as well as purses and technical bags. Custom work is welcomed.

Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Visual Arts) from University of Newcastle in 1995.
