Setsuko Ogishi’s glass artistry is widely recognised and appreciated by Australian art glass lovers. Ogishi has been creating hand-made pieces in the Hunter Valley since 1987 and exhibiting across Australia and internationally.
Her glass studio is in Rothbury, situated in the heart of Hunter Valley wine country. It is one of only a few glassblowing studios in Australia, and is the only one in the Hunter Valley which is open to the public. From this purpose-built studio fitted with furnaces and kilns, her plates, perfume bottles, vases, paperweights, in fact all of Ogishi’s glass masterpieces, are created. All are unique and exquisite in colour and shape.

Her works have been presented to many as special private gifts as well as corporate and government gifts over the years. She will create bespoke
glass pieces to suit any occasion.
The Ogishi Craft Centre gallery is located behind the studio. The lightfilled gallery contains her beautiful work and jewellery, textiles, paintings
and leather-work by other artists.
