Mahala Jewellery was born in 2007 and is designed by Stephanie Rose. Stephanie has worked in fashion, design and education since completing an architecture degree in 1993.

‘Mahala’ is the Native American word for ‘woman’. The name is apt since it reflects the rich cultural aesthetic that Mahala draws from. Materials are sourced from all corners of the globe: hand beaten silver from Tibet, vintage filigree castings, dyed bone from Kenya, coloured silk, old African tradebeads.

Mahala has recently brought out a range of large resin bangles which are easy to wear and complement the other pieces.
