Trevor Dickinson

Trevor earns a living as a designer, creating graphic and textile designs for companies such as Fred Bare, Adidas, Gap, Disney and The Rolling Stones. He has also co-written and illustrated three children’s books.

Trevor also sketches the streets of Newcastle. Under the name “Newcastle Productions”. He collects these drawings of everyday urban street furniture, signage and architecture in the (almost) quarterly zine “Newcastle Australia” and “The Newcastle Annual 2011” Currently Trevor is obsessively drawing 100 letterboxes around Newcastle in numerical order. They are all too beautiful to ignore.

Between 18th of March and 3rd of April Trevor will be holding an exhibition of his Newcastle drawing in the Lock-up Cultural Centre, Hunter Street.
