Art Bazaar has cemented it’s reputation as the event that showcases the Hunter’s creative & vibrant art community that locals & visitors look forward to three times every year. Visitors will also be delighted with the food & music being offered alongside our member’s stalls.

Hunter Arts Network’s second Art Bazaar at Closebourne Morpeth is being held on Sunday 28 August 2016 from 10am – 3pm. This year Art Bazaar will coincide with the final day of Morpeth Novelty Teapot Exhibition which is the town’s trademark showcase of quirky ceramics which runs for two weeks & keeps growing every year. Located on the Front Paddock, Closebourne, Corner of Tank St & Morpeth Rd, in the historic town of Morpeth, the Hunter Valley’s premier boutique shopping and dining venue. Wander down the gorgeous sandstone streets to find colonial buildings occupied by modern and inviting cafés, pubs, galleries, boutiques, antique shops and local businesses. Morpeth is situated on the banks for the Hunter River, just two hours drive north from Sydney.

Art Bazaar has developed into a major art event for the region which now attracts many visitors from out of the area and is the Hunter’s premier artisan and design marketplace. Art Bazaar is a great way to show families and visitors how wonderful our creative community is. Recent accolades include Volunteer Grants 2015, 2015 Hunter Local Business Awards Finalist, 2015 Stockland Community Grants Winner & 2014 QantasLink Hunter & Central Coast Awards for Excellence in Tourism Finalist.

HAN is a non-profit membership of artisans from the Hunter who carefully hand pick stallholders to ensure that shoppers have an array of local, handmade, unique, original & quality products, making Art Bazaar an affordable opportunity for both the public & the creative people of Newcastle and the Hunter. Enjoy meeting the artists and designers who have carefully created for the reputable event providing access beyond the boundaries of the gallery.

Stallholder applications close 15 July 2016 & payment is required by 1 August 2016. When paying please quote the reference number on the invoice. Payment is accepted via direct deposit, cheque or money order &is required to ensure your stall space is confirmed.

Your application will be reviewed by a panel of Artists and you will be advised after applications close if you are successful or not. We try to maintain a very high standard of stall holders so remember the key is originality, quality and innovation and of course must be made by you.
