Art Bazaar is being held along Booragul foreshore on Sunday 24 November as part of a weekend of free events. Art Bazaar is being held in conjunction with the opening of the new-look Art Gallery. The new gallery is opening on 22 November 2019 with expanded exhibition, storage and programming spaces. From Saturday 23 November through to Sunday 24 November, the Gallery and sculpture park will become a hive of activity with creative fun for all ages. From markets to workshops, guided exhibition tours to live music, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Come and let the local creatives delight you with the wide variety on offer. Crowds will be treated to a wide variety of carefully selected stalls featuring premium handmade products. Art Bazaar has cemented it’s reputation as the event that showcases the Hunter’s creative & vibrant art community that locals & visitors look forward to three times every year.

HAN is a non-profit incorporated membership of artisans from the Hunter. HAN is run by a dedicated committee of volunteers who have worked hard to celebrate all modalities of visual arts

HAN is offering stalls for Sunday 24 November to HAN members at $50.00 if having a stall at Lambton Park on 17 November (otherwise the standard $70.00 fee applies). Applications are due by 20 October 2019. All stallholders must apply to become a member of HAN. HAN membership is from $65 per year.

Special Conditions:

Vehicle access is available to the area on the attached map shown as ‘Bookable Area 1D’. Vehicles cannot access the area noted as ‘Ceremony Area’ or ‘Alternate Ceremony Area’. A staff marshal will be present on the day to direct vehicles. No vehicles are to remain on the park throughout the event with the exception of food vans and associated cool rooms etc.

Any direction by the Police or authorised Council Officer must be promptly obeyed.

Access for emergency vehicles must be made available at all times. All portable/temporary structures are to be erected in a safe and responsible manner so as not to cause inconvenience or injury to pedestrians. All structures are to be located at least 3 metres from any sculpture (art works), boundary, or cycleway.

There is no power available on site.

Any cabling must be covered by a material with tapered edging or suspended with a minimum clearance of 2.4 metres.
