Shiloh Art Studio

Shiloh Art Studio is located in a pretty, natural setting and holds open studio exhibitions twice yearly, on the June long weekend as well as mid November with local artists. These are informal, friendly occasions which provide art lovers with an opportunity to meet the artists and see some of the processes in action. We exhibit a variety of art including; painting, etchings, drawings, watercolour, collage, mixed media, artist books, sculpture, original fashion creations and musical instruments. We are also open by appointment.

We offer regular children’s and adults tuition including full day drawing and printmaking workshops. I trained in traditional printmaking but have been using non-toxic, environmentally friendly methods for 10 years. I have taught art for the past 25 years to individuals and groups, from preschool to tertiary level. Workshops are also held by request with a minimum of 4 participants and maximum of 8. The studio space is also available for guest tutors.

I will be staging an exhibition of works by Hunter Home Educator’s at the 2011 Tocal Field Days with classes at the studio teaching folk art from around the world as well as many aspects of putting together an art exhibition.
