The Arts Emporium is run by Newcastle artist, Julie-Anne Ure as an independent professional teaching studio in Lambton.

We cater for all ages ( from 5 to 95), all skill levels and across all art medium (including Life Drawing, sculpture and basic printmaking), from traditional to contemporary. We also offer HSC tutoring, workshops, Masterclasses and Art Parties.

Clients enjoy pleasant studios, small groups, professional teaching and warm encouragement. And if you are booking a party with us - you will enjoy a great deal of well-run, unique and unforgettable art fun !

For absolute beginners to practising artists. Classes are currently run during school terms on :

  • Monday PM 5:30pm – 7:30pm - Adult General Drawing and Painting
  • Tuesday AM 9:30am – 11:30am - Adult General Drawing and Painting
  • Tuesday PM 3:30pm – 5:00pm - Children’s classes
  • Tuesday PM 7:00pm – 9:00pm - Life Drawing
  • Wednesday AM 9:30am – 11:30am - Adult General Drawing and Painting
  • Wednesday PM 3:30pm – 5:00pm - Children’s classes
  • Wednesday PM 5:30pm – 7:30pm - Adult General Drawing and Painting
  • Thursday Afternoon 3:30pm - 5:30pm – Teens year 7 – 10, HSC tutoring for exam or body of work support
