Megan Lewis is offering 3 hour workshops from 6-9pm on Wednesday nights.

Cost: $40 per 3 hour session.
Megan is interested in working with printmaking techniques that are safer than some of the more traditional methods.
She will run each technique over 2 Wednesday nights. Techniques on offer are dry point, solar plate and etching with copper sulphate.
Drypoint on plastic is a fantastic introduction to intaglio plate making and printing. An ideal starting point for beginners with endless possibilities for the more experienced.
Solarplate offers the chance to introduce ‘found’ graphics to your print image making without the use of complex photographic procedures. These precoated polymer plates can be used to create both intaglio and relief prints.
- Make an etching without the traditional acids.
- Copper Sulphate solution works on a variety of metals.
- A suitable introduction to etching or a new experience for the traditionalist.
