Chris Langlois studied in Newcastle and maintains a strong relationship with the Lower Hunter. He is now one of Australia’s leading contemporary landscape artists, renowned for his rigorous technique and powerful imagery. While inspired by place, Langlois’ paintings often transcend time and location to tap into personal experience and the emotions. Co-curated by Katherine Roberts of Manly Art Gallery & Museum and Simon Gregg of Gippsland Art Gallery, this exhibition explores the artist’s career over the past ten years.
