Renew Newcastle is currently inviting Expressions of Interest for arts and creative projects to take place in shopfronts and commercial spaces in the Newcastle city centre.
We are currently working to access new properties to be made available for the initiative, and we need to know what projects are around in the creative community at this time.
If you have an idea for a creative enterprise to take place in a shopfront; or are a creative professional seeking office workspace; or a visual artist seeking studio space, we are interested in hearing from you.
Deadline: Expressions of Interest received by 31 March 2011 will be considered for the next properties that become available.

Just a thought for ‘Renew Newcastle’…
Many Hunter St TAFE students have created artworks in class and are worth purchasing, yet these students (myself included), are extremely unfinancial, so to exhibit art can become costly. Can ‘Renew Newcastle’ help these students find a venue where art can be displayed collectively without the high cost of exhibition fees. This would be beneficial to the emerging talent found at Hunter St TAFE.
