Since 2002 the Hunter’s premier artisan & design marketplace, Art Bazaar, has been held every year,  & since 2012  has been held three times every year at three locations by Hunter Arts Network (HAN) which is a non-profit membership of Artists, Designers, Jewellers and craft people from the Hunter region. It has been a pleasure working with the galleries & venues to ensure great events for the region and we hope to continue developing a presence on the art and cultural event calendar of the Hunter and NSW.

Art Bazaars feature original handcrafted goods from 50-100 local HAN artists.

Every Art Bazaar is spread out on the expansive grounds of the impressive locations.

Art Bazaars are FREE entry & there’s also be demonstrations, loads of parking, food, drinks & ATM’s.

Enjoy meeting the artists & designers who have carefully created for the reputable event providing access beyond the boundaries of the gallery.

It is an affordable opportunity for both the public & the creative people of Newcastle & the Hunter

Newcastle Fringe is the biggest little fringe in Australia and Fringe For Families running across the weekend of 20-21 March, promises to offer up an action packed, fun filled adventure for the whole family and best of all, most of the action is free of charge.

Applications for stalls for Hunter Arts Network Art Bazaar twilight market are still open. Stall fees for all Art Bazaars include public liability insurance. We email bump in information to all stallholders within 24 hours before the event which shows what times and where you can drive on, unload, drive off, park your car, return and set up. Our allocated spaces are in the undercover areas under the awning where there is lighting in front of the shopfronts and also half of the middle undercover area. Canopies are not required for stalls under the awning however the market tent frame is still required for social distancing. Stallholders will be able to drive on from 2.30pm to unload via the loading zone. Click here to view the event map
