Hunter Arts Network’s twelfth annual Summer Art Bazaar will be held this Saturday 6 December 2014 from 10am – 9pm & this year we will be sharing Civic Park, Newcastle with the City of Newcastle. This partnership has created an opportunity for local primary schools & community groups to participate in one of Newcastle’s major Christmas displays this year, raise funds for their selected Hunter-based charity & a prize for the school or group who raises the most for their charity!

Sixteen carefully crafted trees have been made by Hunter Arts Network, each tree is 1.5 metres tall & the schools/groups get to keep the tree afterwards.

After taking the time to decorate the tree, with each school’s/group’s creative & individual design representing their school and community, their students & members will take great pride in seeing them on display in a spectacular forest of Christmas cheer lining the path in the centre of Civic Park to the pond.
