This workshop will benefit Hunter Arts Network (HAN) members who are having a stall at our next Art Bazaar at Closebourne Morpeth.  HAN is inviting members, guests & creative makers to learn how to build your audience by presenting your product in a professional and visually enhanced way through the direction of highly skilled specialized visual merchandiser, Julie Grant.

Julie Grant is a talented and creative visual merchandiser, stylist, installation artist and consultant based in Newcastle.

After graduating with a Diploma of Visual Merchandising from RMIT University in 2005 she achieved extensive visual merchandising experience with roles such as Mall Merchandising Executive for GPT Group’s iconic Melbourne Central and as a Visual Merchandiser for Myer.

Most recently Julie has worked as a freelance Visual Merchandiser for Newcastle Now, Renew Newcastle and several boutiques in the Newcastle area.

Julie has designed and project managed ‘pop up’ retailing concepts, designed and implemented visual merchandising strategies for small and large scale retail projects, styled small events, launch parties, photo shoots and catalogues for designers and retailers.

In addition to Julie’s retail and styling work she practices as an Installation Artist. After gaining a Bachelor of Fine Art from The University of NSW College of Fine Art in 1999 she went on to gain valuable gallery experience working across several roles at The Newcastle Region Art Gallery.
