Hunter Arts Network Art Bazaar

Call for Stallholders

Newcastle’s iconic Art Bazaar continues to be the leading artisan event on the local creative calendar. This gathering of the region’s most talented makers and creatives is thoughtfully curated by Hunter Arts Network and has been taking place since 2002.

Attendees can explore a wide range of stalls featuring hand made work by local creatives including painters, ceramics, printmaking, fibre/textiles, photography, scuplture, jewellery, glass, graphic, homewares and much more

The market brings together a community of like-minded members who are all local creatives producing unique, handmade, high quality art and design-based work, while Art Bazaar continually brings this handmade art community to loyal followers who find gifts or treats for themselves, while meeting the local Hunter makers and artists they are supporting.

Food and coffee stalls and live entertainment are part of the experience

Art Bazaar will be returning in 2026 on these dates and Latin Velvet duo is performing live again at every Art Bazaar in 2026 – IG @latinvelvetmusic – www.latinvelvet.com

Sunday 23 August 10am – 2pm St Therese’s Primary School, Royal St, New Lambton

Sunday 22 November 9am – 2pm Lambton Park

Hunter Arts Network is run by a dedicated committee of volunteers who have also worked hard to celebrate all modalities of visual arts and the committee that has come together continues to do an amazing job to make this happen.

Be a part of the Art Bazaar we have come to know today, which is now held at Lambton Park and St Therese’s Primary School, Royal St, New Lambton. The stall fees are very affordable for stallholders and food/coffee trucks:

Sunday 22 March 10am – 2pm St Therese’s Primary School, Royal St, New Lambton $75.00

Sunday 23 August 10am – 2pm St Therese’s Primary School, Royal St, New Lambton $75.00

Sunday 22 November 9am – 2pm Lambton Park $85.00

You must ensure your market tent is heavily weighed down

Safety comes first and our major concern is the wind and we usually expect a bit of wind in the afternoon. Council has advised that pegs are no longer allowed in the park. Please pack weights to secure your gazebo. Weights must be around 15kg per leg and an inspection will be carried out at set up and no weights or flimsy weights will not be allowed. If bringing water weights it is often a good idea fill your water weights before packing them.

Please note Art Bazaar is an outdoor market so please be prepared for the weather for yourself and your work – please bring suitable footwear and attire and protection to cover your stall

HAN has introduced a $25.00 non-refundable administration fee for Art Bazaar. This will apply to stallholders who are a no-show or cancel at the last minute (within 24 hours prior to the event)
