Hunter Arts Network has two more upcoming Art Bazaars this year, on Sunday 23 August at St Therese’s Primary School, Royal St, New Lambton and Sunday 22 November at Lambton Park. The Hunter Arts Network Art Bazaar is a high-quality artisan market that has been running since 2002, showcasing the work of talented local artists and makers. In 2025 Art Bazaar entered it’s next journey with the event now being held regularly at this new location, while continuing its tradition of supporting creativity, craftsmanship, and community connection. Public liability insurance is included and Newcastle Men’s Shed will be there to help stallholders bump in and bump out. The event will also feature food trucks, a coffee van and live entertainment by Latin Velvet – IG @latinvelvetmusic – www.latinvelvet.com
Stallholder applications
Apply now for a stall at our next Art Bazaars and be a part of the Art Bazaar we have come to know today, which is now held at Lambton Park and indoors at St Therese’s Primary School, Royal St, New Lambton. New stallholders are welcome to apply. The stall fee for HAN members, new members and food and coffee vendors is very affordable:
Sunday 23 August at St Therese’s Primary School, New Lambton (now 10am to 2pm): $75.00.
(Market tents are not permitted in the school hall. We also have limited spaces outside the hall which are still undercover and allow the use of market tents)
Sunday 22 November at Lambton Park (now 9am to 2pm): $85.00
(You must ensure your market tent is heavily weighed down – Safety comes first and our major concern is the wind and we usually expect a bit of wind in the afternoon. Council has advised that pegs are no longer allowed in the park. Please pack weights to secure your gazebo. Weights must be around 15kg per leg and an inspection will be carried out at set up and no weights or flimsy weights will not be allowed. If bringing water weights it is often a good idea fill your water weights before packing them. Please note this Art Bazaar is an outdoor market so please be prepared for the weather for yourself and your work – please bring suitable footwear and attire and protection to cover your stall
