Art Around Project
Exhibition of Children’s Work

Please join us at Back to Back Galleries (57 Bull St, Cooks Hill) for the launch of the KU Children’s Services Art Around Project – 
an exhibition of children’s artworks on Friday 4th February, 6pm – 8pm. RSVP by Jan 28 – see invitation below for further details.

The exhibition is the culmination of an art-based early childhood research project called Art Around.

The aim of the Art Around Project was to demystify art for early childhood staff in the hope that their creativity and confidence would inspire increased artistic confidence amongst the children.

Staff from KU Merewether, KU Wickham, KU Bel-air and Kooinda Child Care Centre 
participated in the project – guided and supported by well-known artist Jan Downes.

The exhibition of children’s work is testament to the positive affect of the Art Around Project on early childhood educators.

Art Around Project is open one weekend only: Feb 4th to 6th 2011.
