Back to Back Galleries (Newcastle) is now accepting submissions from artists for exhibitions to be held during the 2010 calendar year.
The front gallery with 40 square metres of floor space is a well-lit open space with a vaulted ceiling and large viewing windows fronting the street. It is available to rent ($400) for exhibitions on a three-week rotation as indicated in the schedule attached to the submission form.
The gallery director and gallery committee will assess exhibition submissions and determine the annual exhibition calendar. Because of our ongoing commitment to ceramic art in the Newcastle and Hunter region, ceramic content is desirable in each exhibition. However, exhibitions without ceramic content will be considered.
Back to Back Galleries is located at 57 Bull Street, Cooks Hill within walking distance to the Newcastle Regional Art Gallery and just down the road from Darby Street.
Please complete the submission form and return it with the required support material by August 31, 2009.
