Lake Mac – Meet the Makers – 8 June 2024

This June as part of the annual Dobell Festival Lake Mac Arts has reimagined ‘Open Studios’ to become ‘Lake Mac – Meet the Makers’

To be held at the Museum of Art and Culture (MAC yapang), on Saturday 8 June 8 2024, from 10am – 4pm.

This event at MAC yapang will include live music, food trucks and a bar. We want to make ‘Meet the Makers’ an enjoyable community event.

This cultural event is part of the annual Dobell Festival provides local artists the opportunity to participate in a new event that will promote our local artists and their creative practices.

The Museum of Art and Culture (MAC yapang) will take a 20% commission of artwork sold through the gallery shop. Lake Mac Arts will not be charging stallholder fees and participating artists can choose what they bring to sell, there is no minimum sale.

Lake Mac Arts will be holding an information session for participating artists at the end of March, dates will be provided once applications have been assessed.
