The 2013 Festival featured more than 55 events across five weeks. The events were hosted by professionals, organisations and community groups and were housed at various locations and sites across Singleton. The events and activities ranged from specialised workshops of eight people through to major weekend events attracting in excess of 1,000 people per day.
The Singleton Festival, formerly the Singleton Arts Festival, began through the collaboration of The Rotary Club of Singleton on Hunter, Sacred Spaces at the Sisters of Mercy Convent, and Singleton Arts and Music Society (SAMS).
The events success lies in the showcase of cultural, artistic and performing groups through a wide variety of displays, performances and workshops. The festival attracts performers, artist and patrons from Singleton, the broader Hunter Region and from around NSW.
The Singleton Festival 2015 will begin on Friday 3 July 2015, and run through until Sunday 26 July. In that time, many workshops, events and activities will be held celebrating the four themes: Food & Wine, Military History, Tribute to Creativity, and Youthful Creations.
