The Hunter’s premier Art event is on again this Sunday at Maitland Regional Art Gallery High St., Maitland from 10 am – 3pm. Art Bazaar is now held quarterly by the Hunter Arts Network, and our first Winter Art Bazaar will have over 70 Artisans spread out on the grounds of the Gallery. Art Bazaar is the ideal platform for the community to invest in locally produced visual arts, craft and design, including professional practitioners, who will have their work showcased in a supportive and creative atmosphere.
We have a fantastic line up of demonstrations across the day by our members:
- Painting with Light in Watercolours
- Sculpting polymer clay Art Dolls
- Machine Embroidery
- Portrait Painting
- Felting
We have a range of beautiful lucky door prizes being drawn every hour from 11am. Win striking art and dazzling jewellery which has been hand made by our talented artists and designers:
Shoppers can enjoy meeting the artists and designers who have carefully created art works and jewellery for the event providing access beyond the boundaries of a gallery. It is an affordable opportunity for both the public and and creative people of the Hunter.
There is an onsite cafe that will be open serving breakfast and lunch and will also have an extra food and coffee stall available in anticipation of the crowds.
