Catapult Choreographic and Multi Arts Hub is a not-for-profit organisation hosting a number of programs funded by Australia Council for the Arts, artsNSW, NSW Education and Communities, Ausdance NSW and Newcastle City Council.

Catapult Choreographic Hub’s next big event is the informal showing of work produced over an intensive three week residency in the studio space by local Clothing Designers HIGH TEA WITH MRS WOO and Professional Contemporary Dance Artist Marnie Palomares. This is the third instalment of their artist residency program, PROPEL. During a three week residency Professional Contemporary Dance Artists will collaborate in the Studio with Local Newcastle based artists, composers, designers and other creatives, mentored by Catapult Artistic Director Cadi McCarthy and Force Majeur’s Danielle Micich, This Collaboration sees Independent Dance Artist and Emerging Choreographer Marnie Palomares collaborate with Newcastle Clothing Designers Angela, Juliana and Rowena Foong, of High Tea with Mrs Woo. The work will be informally shown at Catapult Choreographic Hub 880 Hunter St Newcastle West on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th October, 7pm. All welcome, entry $10.
