So a little about Kay McEvoy creator of Polkadot Sisters

I was born in Bega on the NSW Far South Coast and grew up on a dairy farm. I have lived and enjoyed many other beautiful places of residence in my life. Settling in Newcastle in 1976, where I raised my daughters and enjoyed a very rewarding Real Estate career, in the early 2000s I went off on a little adventure working on Hamilton Island for a few years. I returned to Newcastle in 2007 blessed to be back in this beautiful City and ready for Grandchildren.

I couldn’t wait to retire in 2012 always having a love for sewing, I had been dabbling with doll making for a couple of years, and this was my opportunity for it to absorb me. And that it has hahaha!!!!!

My Dolls are lovingly hand made using quality Australian products…Dotti is a 46cm fabric doll with felt hair and hand embroidered facial features ….. she is a dress up doll, with all her clothes being made to be easily removed, which makes her a great little playmate. All clothes are reversible so you get the benefit of two outfits in one and you can buy extra clothes.
