Bobbi Oliver, an artist that immigrated  to Australia from the USA in 1999.

She has been an active potter/sculptor, teacher since 1969, casting bronze and working in other mixed media. Since moving to Australia she continued to work in clay creating a pottery studio in the Hunter. She also for more than 10 years concentrated on working in polymer clay and air dry clays creating Mixed media Art Dolls. She travels NSW selling her creations at Expos, Art Markets and other Arts events as well as retail shops.

Bobbi was active in the Arts in the USA involved in the Lake County Arts Council a state funded organisation in Lakeport, California 1970s-1980’s..  She held the position of Executive Director, President, Vice-President during her years with the organisation. She worked with the Art Council’s board of directors and volunteers to establish many arts programs for schools, created craft fairs and events in fine arts, theatre and dance for the community. 

Her qualifications include an Associated Arts Degree in Fine Art from Mendocino Junior College Ukiah, California 1988. Bachelors of Arts Degree from Humboldt State University, Arcata, California in Studio Art with an emphasis in Sculpture in 1992. She was a Member of the Maitland Regional Artists Society, Tuggerah Lakes Potters Association, Gumnut Dollies, Newcastle.
