FRIENDS OF THE GALLERY, WE’RE TURNING 40 AND TO CELEBRATE WE’VE CREATED AN EXCITING PROGRAM OF EVENTS TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER TO COMMEMORATE COOKS HILL GALLERIES CONTRIBUTION TO THE ARTS AND THIS SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE IN THE HISTORY OF THE GALLERY.
From 11.30am – 1pm we have a panel discussion with a selection of CHG’s represented artists who will discuss life as a professional artist, their relationship with the Gallery, and perhaps the odd tale or interesting story involving me over the past 40 years!
At 4pm I will address the gathering and formally open CHG’s ’40th Birthday Exhibition’ which will feature a special selection of art from 30 of CHG’s artists who have been invited to submit work especially for this milestone show.
Following enjoy a cocktail party set against the stunning backdrop of the ’40th Birthday Exhibition’, connect with the artists, catch up with old friends and make new as we celebrate CHG’s 40th birthday in style!
