Mastering Mortality is Gavin Vitullo’s first Solo Exhibition and promises to be an insightful look into the mind of an artist who questions ones place within the environment through a multi-disciplinary practice that includes printmaking, sculpture and drawing.

Gavin is most recognised for his work in sculpture and was the winner of the Newcastle Emerging Art Prize (NEAP) for sculpture in both 2013 & 2014. He was also the inaugural Newcastle Lord Mayor’s Public Sculpture winner in 2013 for his work ‘Undercurrent’.
