Maitland City Council is seeking submissions from artists, creatives and makers for a new Place Activation project in Drill Hall Lane (north), Maitland.
Drill Hall Lane (north) in Central Maitland runs from High Street to the Riverside Walk along Maitland’s Hunter River. This laneway is a direct and easy walk to access the river but it is generally underutilised by the public who may not recognise the connection. Drill Hall Lane (north) has the potential to become a significant local laneway once activated through a unique and visually appealing project/s.
Expressions of Interest (EOI) are now open for the project. Submissions will be open until midnight 4 September 2019.
