Unique Farm Studio for Creative Arts Workshops & Specialist Classes.

WEDNESDAY WORKSHOP – Are you interested in art during the week?

When numbers demand it, midweek 3 hour workshops will recommence on Wednesday mornings from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

During these workshops, artworks can be developed resulting in either a series of works or completed works ready for the framer or display. Students may range in age and ability – and self direction is well supported. Everyone is always catered for and we aim for an inclusive, friendly learning environment.

Most basic art materials are supplied, including morning tea. Midweek 3 hr workshops cost $25.

To express interest in this workshop, please register by telephoning 02 4973 3042 (leave your name, message and call back details)

Update: Studio Workshops are regularly attended every Saturday morning.

Saturday workshops run each week from 9.30am to 12.30am – with something different each time. Participants are working through a set program learning foundation drawing skills, basic colour theory, painting with acrylics, working with ink and other materials. Students often produce numerous drawings and finished works over the session. Our several horses, dogs and cats often model for us, even the old red tractor features occasionally. The property’s pretty rural outlook is the perfect site for outdoor creative workshops. Most basic art materials are supplied, including morning tea. Saturday 3 hour workshops cost $25. BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL-

NEW: Discounted art materials are now available to order from Robyn Croft

Special Events

Morrisset Showground Mural Project:

Thanks to the support of Lake Macquarie City Council, Morisset Showground Trust and Watagan Pony Club, this project will soon commence. Designs for the murals have now been completed and the fabrication of the artworks, including painting the murals on metal cut out panels will soon start.

Local community members will be invited to help paint more than a dozen designs, featuring chooks, ducks, a turkey, goat, cow, dogs, horses and speedcars! The historic use of the grounds over the years will be depicted in the murals, mostly produced off-site to be installed on the buildings at the Showground. Morrisset PCYC Arts Project:

Arts activities will include making new works for the centre, artworks for the public spaces of Morisset township, music, dance, digital imaging workshops and more. Stay tuned for more info on this exciting project!
