Newcastle Men’s Shed will be available to assist bumping in and bumping out to those who need it

You must ensure your market tent is heavily weighed down

Safety comes first and our major concern is the wind and we usually expect a bit of wind in the afternoon. Council has advised that pegs are no longer allowed in the park. Please pack weights to secure your gazebo. Weights must be around 15kg per leg and an inspection will be carried out at set up and no weights or flimsy weights will not be allowed. If bringing water weights it is often a good idea to fill your water weights before packing them.

Please note Art Bazaar is an outdoor market so please be prepared for the weather for yourself and your work – please bring suitable footwear and attire and protection to cover your stall

Art in the Park

We are so thrilled to have @thestudioadamstown at Art Bazaar Lambton Park tomorrow in the rotunda!! The Studio Adamstown is a creative, supportive and inclusive art studio where young people learn creative skills and techniques for life. Our team of professionally trained teachers and facilitators provide a balance of guidance and freedom for children to grow creatively.

The Activities:

1) Peace Moths: Moths are known for being drawn to light in the darkest of nights. This can represent the search for hope, peace and a better future amidst dark times. Children are invited to colour in, cut out and construct their own fluttering moths which they can then place on the end of sticks to fly around Art Bazaar and bring happiness to all.

2) Postcard Drawings: Using various drawing utensils such as pencil and texta, young artists can flex their drawing skills and their imagination by drawing lovely landscapes or scenes onto postcard templates. We invite children to include a message and then give the postcard to family or friends to remember their day out at Art Bazaar

3) Watercolour Waves: Using oil pastels and watercolour paints, children can try their hand at painting to create their own underwater world full of fish, shells and even buried treasure.

Here’s a preview of some of the massive line up of stallholders, entertainment, food and coffee trucks attending Hunter Arts Network Art Bazaar Lambton Park Sunday 1 December 2024!
