Hunter Arts Network members, Kimberlie and Jacqueline of Magic Starfish Tie Dye, recently held a Tie Dye workshop in July for Mem’s Soul Food’s Recipes to Life program for teenage school girls who are struggling with “life”. The girls from Raymond Terrace who attended the workshop do one day a week on the program & learn life skills eg cooking, personal grooming, self respect etc. The workshop was filmed & will be on Vimeo initially & will then be included in the TV show that will be aired on Foxtel in Australia & New Zealand for three years.

Mem & her staff will be wearing Magic Starfish Tie Dyes as their uniform from the week after their workshop as well!

Magic Starfish Tie Dye will also be exhibiting at HAN’s Art Bazaar Maitland this month on Sunday 31 August. Art Bazaar will run from 10am – 3pm at Maitland Regional Art Gallery
