Are you committed to strengthening your capacity to support participation in the arts by people with a disability? Do you know someone who might be interested in joining you to lead the change in inclusive arts practice in Newcastle and the Hunter region?

You are invited to attend the next Creative Access Network meeting on Friday 6 December, 1-4pm at Wallsend Library Multipurpose Room, Wallsend. Click below for the Agenda: http://octapod.org/program/access/creative-access-network/

Octapod, with the support of the City of Newcastle provides opportunities for artists to develop the skills and confidence to work in an inclusive context, inspires arts projects involving artists with disability that focus on art making, not disability and supports people with disability to have more choices and better access to mainstream arts experiences.

Please come along, share information and help plan the future of the Creative Access Network into 2014 and beyond, to further build on its unique professional development opportunities and inclusive arts programs, activities and outcomes.

If you are unable to attend, please spend five minutes completing the attached survey which will inform Octapod’s 2014 Creative Access Program planning for Newcastle and the Hunter region. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/52K7S7R

Light refreshments will be available at the meeting. Please contact me if you have special dietary requirements and we will endeavour to meet your needs. Also please let me know if you have any access requirements.

Please RSVP by Thursday 5 December to Christina Robberds on 0415 699 227 or Justine Potter at access@octapod.org
