CREATIVE BOOKMAKING

Bookbinding and making with a difference! Learn creative ways to make your own books to use as visual diaries, travel journals, photo albums or gifts. With these simple but effective techniques you can make books at home. You will finish a book on the day.
Workshop fee: $80 full day, including materials and Devonshire tea. BYO lunch. Please bring along any scraps of paper or fabric, buttons, feathers, leaves or other found objects that you may wish to include.
Dawn Thompson creates original mixed media artworks and books from a variety of recycled and natural objects. Her bookmaking workshops are enjoyed by both adults and children.
WATERCOLOUR & DRAWING

This workshop will focus on drawing skills and watercolour techniques including creating various textures. Participants may also bring works-in-progress for help and advice (optional).
All artist quality materials & papers provided. BYO lunch, Devonshire tea provided. Cost $80
Bernie Meyers trained in fine arts and traditional printmaking but has been using non-toxic, environmentally friendly methods for 10 years. She has taught art for the past 25 years to individuals and groups, from preschool to tertiary level. She has also widely exhibited her works on paper since 1993.
We cater for all levels of ability. Max 8 students per workshop.
