Former member of Renew Newcastle project Make Space, Jackie Smallcombe, is seeking Expressions Of Interest from people looking to lease a workshop space with the option of a communal gallery/shop.
The warehouse is located in Wickham (behind Dark Horse Espresso), an area now buzzing with new apartments, coffee shops and other small businesses. This space would be suitable but not limited to people in the fields of textiles, illustration, painting, design, other arts & crafts. Your work needs to be a relatively “clean” type of work, as other peoples areas need to be looked after / considered.

Hi Jackie, I am looking for a studio space where I can work one -two days week as a jeweller. I understand your spaces would not really be appropriate, need for ventilation and use of chemicals and gas etc would not be ok. But I am wondering if you know of anyone in the newcastle area or a space that may be available for jeweller.
