If you are interested in learning about the exciting world of natural plant dyes, this is the workshop for you! Discover the magic of extracting colour from herbs, leaves, flowers, and roots of plants, using minimal mordants.
Students will also be shown several SHIBORI techniques, which create intricate patterns. All participants will create a daily diary of experiments, that will form a Colour Reference Book, and the opportunity to dye larger pieces of fabric, that can be made into garments, wraps, scarves (or books for the paper enthusiasts!). This workshop is for all levels of experience! Patience is required, though!
