ADVANCED: 12.30pm – 3.30pm (3hrs)        Cost : $75

Advanced Visual storytelling, special pages (splash pages, outside the frame, breaking the grid) character development and the visual world.

Layout and design of web comics.

Industry opportunities and avenues for web comics and hard copy publication.

Full day : 10am- 3pm (5hrs)    Cost: $110  (Includes both sessions)
Students will produce a page in the day.

ABOUT LOUIE JOYCE CORNALL:

Louie’s comic work focuses on narratives and experimenting with different techniques of graphic storytelling. His short comic The Corner Store was nominated for a 2014 Ledger Award and won the Ace Comics & Games 2013 Best Short Australian Comic prize. He is a regular presence at all the major Comic Conventions around Australia where his individual prints/artwork and solo comics are in high demand. His most recent work Little Red in the US IDW published anthology Imaginary Drugs has been signalled out in reviews.

As well his art and design work has been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions in Australia and overseas.

He is a professional freelance graphic designer producing artwork and animations for the advertising and the film industry.
